Overall comments: Not a fan of these toilets as I find there is always a bad smell there. Also it costs 20c to use which really is a rip of in a shopping centre as it should be free.

Location: Next door to the GPO on Olivier Plunkett Street in Cork City which runs parallel with St. Patrick’s Street. The toilets are at the back of the cafe.

Location: The shopping centre is located on the Mahon Link Road which is the first slip road after the Jack Lynch tunnel coming. The toilets are inside the cinema screen area and downstairs.

Overall comments: To be honest, Im not a fan at all. Floor is always wet and slippy (and dangerous). Dryers are slow to dry hands. Could be better.

Location: The shopping centre is located on the Mahon Link Road which is the first slip road after the Jack Lynch tunnel coming. These toilets are located outside the entrance to Tesco’s on the upper floor.

Smell/Odour: 3 (Dirty smell)
Running Water: 5 (Hot tap only and the water is only tepid)
Hand wash/Soap: 6 (One dispenser was empty)
Hand dryer/towels: 4 (I hate this dryer. It is slow and stops all the time. Not once have I managed to completely dry my hands before leaving)

Overall comments: Not great to be honest and each time I have been there the floor has been a bit slippy and, as already stated, the dryer is rubbish.

Duncannon Fort Visitor Centre, Duncannon, Co. Wexford

Location: On the Hook Head Scenic drive this is on the road to New Ross from Hook Lighthouse. Toilets are just off the main square in the fort where you park.

Area Cleanliness: 4 (Although it was raining the floor should have been kept dryer and was not clean looking)

Running Water: 3 (Cold tap only and sink was a bit dirty)

Other: With the bin being so small I ended up stomping down the towels to stop more littering the floor. Through traffic was not much in this place so it seems the toilets were not checked recently. Bonus points: -4

Overall comments: Not impressed at all and toilets were quite dark and dingy looking. Floor was wet and had used towels on it. No hot water. A good tourist attraction let down by the toilets.

Location: At the end of Hook head, follow the Hook Head Drive from either Wexford or New Ross. Toilets are inside the visitor centre, just to the left as you walk in the door.
