August 17, 2009

Two years ago while cruising on the Shannon, we stopped off in Banagher to sample the delight of J.J. Houghs. I have the pictures of the toilets but Guinness got the better of me and rating these toilets proved to be an issue. Anyone care to fill in the blanks??

Toilet checklist: 0 (None visible)

Other: None Bonus points: 0

Total Score: 44

Overall comments: The toilets are OK but are very much in keeping with the decor of this pub. It appears to have been done up in the 70’s and little done to it since. Dont judge the pints though by the state of the toilets. Overall they are clean and usable but if your looking for comfort, go elsewhere.
