These ratings are for the Men’s toilets.
Ratings(marks out of 10)
Area Cleanliness: 8

Running Water: 10
Hand wash/Soap: 10
Hand dryer/towels: 6 (found the dryer slow to get going and really another is needed)
Toilet paper: 10
State of the floor: 9
State of the toilet: 8
Toilet checklist: 0 (Did not notice one)
Other: None. Bonus points: 0

Name: Butlers Chocolate Cafe, Oliver Plunkett Street, Cork.
County: Cork
Location: Next door to the GPO on Olivier Plunkett Street in Cork City which runs parallel with St. Patrick’s Street. The toilets are at the back of the cafe.
These ratings are for the Men’s toilets.
Ratings(marks out of 10)
Area Cleanliness: 9
Smell/Odour: 9 (and they had a spray also)
Running Water: 10
Hand wash/Soap: 10
Hand dryer/towels: 7 (I found the dryer took some time to get going)
Toilet paper: 10
State of the floor: 9
State of the toilet: 9
Toilet checklist: 0 (I cannot remember one but I could be wrong)
Other: I found the toilet quite cramped and small. If you are taking a child to the bathroom or are on your own and have some bags it would be difficult to maneuver. Bonus points: -3
Total Score: 70
Overall comments: The toilets are nice and noticeably well maintained but very small and cramped.

Name: Omniplex Cinema, Mahon Point Shopping Centre, Mahon, Cork
County: Cork
Location: The shopping centre is located on the Mahon Link Road which is the first slip road after the Jack Lynch tunnel coming. The toilets are inside the cinema screen area and downstairs.
These ratings are for the Men’s toilets.
Ratings(marks out of 10)
Area Cleanliness: 8
Smell/Odour: 5 (No smell either way)
Running Water: 10
Hand wash/Soap: 10
Hand dryer/towels: 7 (Four dryers for around 15 toilets. Usually not enough if two movies finish at the same time. Dryers are slow enough as well)
Toilet paper: 10
State of the floor: 5 (Every time the floor is wet and slippy. Putting up “Wet Floor” signs is not enough. How about drying them?)
State of the toilet: 9
Toilet checklist: 7 (Checklist visible but not sure if always checked)
Other: None. Bonus points: 0
Total Score: 71
Overall comments: To be honest, Im not a fan at all. Floor is always wet and slippy (and dangerous). Dryers are slow to dry hands. Could be better.

Name: Mahon Point Shopping Centre, Mahon, Cork
County: Cork
Location: The shopping centre is located on the Mahon Link Road which is the first slip road after the Jack Lynch tunnel coming. These toilets are located outside the entrance to Tesco’s on the upper floor.
These ratings are for the Men’s toilets.
Ratings(marks out of 10)
Area Cleanliness: 8
Smell/Odour: 3 (Dirty smell)
Running Water: 5 (Hot tap only and the water is only tepid)
Hand wash/Soap: 6 (One dispenser was empty)
Hand dryer/towels: 4 (I hate this dryer. It is slow and stops all the time. Not once have I managed to completely dry my hands before leaving)
Toilet paper: 10
State of the floor: 7 (Some wet spots and nearly slipped on floor)
State of the toilet: 9
Toilet checklist: 0 (Did not notice a checklist)
Other: In the dryer there are spaces for paper towels but there are never any there and this would help greatly. Bonus points: -3
Total Score: 49
Overall comments: Not great to be honest and each time I have been there the floor has been a bit slippy and, as already stated, the dryer is rubbish.
