Location: From O’Connell Street brige, head down Eden Quay (take the right turn just over the bridge going from South to North side). Go past the Customs House and the Clarion is on the left-hand side. Toilets are through the door to the left of reception and down the stairs.

Running Water: 5 (dislike these automatic taps with no adjustment for hot/cold)
Hand wash/Soap: 5 (should be soap at each or between each tap)
Hand dryer/towels: 5 (these hand dryers are not great)

Toilet checklist: 0 (none visible)
Other: None Bonus points: 0
Total Score: 59
Overall comments: Used these a few times and always clean and very presentable. These type of hand dryers I find particularly useless as you always need to use the paper towels first. Overall, not bad.

Name: Abbeyleix Manor Hotel, Cork Road, Abbeyleix, Co.Laois
County: Laois
Location: Coming from Dublin heading to Cork, go through the town of Abbeyleix. Coming out the other side you will pass a service station on your left and the hotel is the next left afterwards. Toilets are past the main reception desk, through the double doors and then on the right hand side.

Area Cleanliness: 9
Smell/Odour: 7 (clean smell but nothing special)
Running Water: 10
Hand wash/Soap: 4 (Only one from the three dispensers was working)
Hand dryer/towels: 7 (There is one electric and one towel dryer for up to 9 people)
Toilet paper: 10
State of the floor: 9
State of the toilet: 10
Toilet checklist: 0 (Plastic sheet for checklist on door but no checklist was there)
Other: None Bonus points: 0
Total Score: 66
Overall comments: These toilets are OK but not really maintained well enough from my point of view. If toilets are a good take on my the kitchen may be, I’m not sure I’d eat in this hotel.

Name: Highlands Hotel, Main Street, Glenties, Co.Donegal
County: Donegal
Location: Coming from Donegal Town, the Highlands Hotel is on your lef-hand side at the top of the town, opposite Paddy’s Bar and the Garda station. The toilets are at the end of the bar on the right as you come into the hotel bar.

Name: The Davenport Hotel, Lower Merrion St, Dublin 2
County: Dublin
Location: From the bottom of Grafton St, head over Nassau Street. Follow the road around Lincoln Place and the Davenport is on the left-hand side. Toilets are to the left as you walk in, downstairs.
